About the role
Amalan Tekun Sdn Bhd, a leading metal roofing company, is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor (HQ based in Selangor). As a Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects by coordinating various aspects of the project lifecycle.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of project coordination, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring project tasks and timelines
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of any issues
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence
Coordinate and participate in project meetings, ensuring action items are followed up and documented
Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing potential risks or delays
Provide administrative support, such as processing invoices, purchase orders, and other project-related paperwork
Assist in the implementation of quality control and safety procedures on-site
What we're looking for
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar Project Coordinator role within the construction industry
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Proficient in using project management software and other relevant computer applications
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Flexibility to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements
