A leading property development company based in Penang is seeking a Project Architect to assist in managing project sites. You will lead a team, ensure projects meet specifications, liaise with professionals, and oversee compliance during the construction phase. The ideal candidate has a strong background in civil engineering and project management with at least 3 years of experience in the industry.

• Strong inter-personal skills in human relations.

• To assist superior in the administration of the project site.
• To lead a team of professional and technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations.
• To liaise witharchitects, consultants and authorities, submit related plans to authorities and obtain approval from relevant departments;set guidelines and provide supervisory role and expertise and to the team.
• To check on technical drawings and ensure requirement are met.
• Assisting in preparation and submission of plans from planning stage until construction stage.
• To participate in Site Safety and Project Progress Meeting.
• To deal with sales & marketing to ensure the products meet the market needs.
• To ensure projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• To liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff.
• To provide technical advice.
• Collaborating with all internal departments such as Accounts Department, Sales/ Marketing Department on administrative and development matters.
• Perform any related task as directed by the superior from time to time.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Min certificate in Civil and Structure Engineering, Architectural or equivalent.
• Min 3 years working experience in property development/ construction industry.
• Strong inter-personal skill in human relation.
• Strong problem-solving skills
