A leading construction company in Kuching is looking for a Project Administrator to handle tender coordination, general administrative duties, and procurement activities. This role requires a diploma or degree in Engineering Administration, with a minimum of one year’s experience in project coordination. Strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and communication abilities in English and Bahasa Melayu are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible, detail-oriented, and display a spirit of teamwork.
Diploma or degree in Engineering Administration, Project Management, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably within the construction industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Responsible, detail-oriented, and punctual
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a willingness to engage in active learning
Possess teamwork spirit and positive attitude
Great communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English & Bahasa Melayu
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Coordinate the preparation and submission of tender documents
Monitor tender deadlines and ensure timely submissions
Maintain and renew company licenses, records, and databases
Handle general administrative duties, including filing and document preparation
Assist with procurement activities and inventory tracking
Follow up on orders, deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers
Maintain and update internal databases and support ISO documentation
Assist in preparing and maintaining QAQC documents, checklists, and inspection reports
Maintain records of material approvals, site inspections, and test results
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on quality matters
Perform ad-hoc tasks or any other duties as assigned by management
