Programmer III, IT App

UCT is looking for a Microsoft SharePoint and PowerApps Developer to join our team and work from our site in Malaysia (Hybrid). You will be part of IT's internal Power Platform team and design and develop solutions in Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom SharePoint, MS Teams & Power BI solutions based on business requirements.
• Create and configure Landing pages, Department Templates/Pages, Newsletters, banners, SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content, site columns, permission, workflows, and web parts.
• Create, deploy, package, and administer SharePoint sites.
• Develop custom forms and templates using InfoPath and SharePoint Designer.
• Integrate SharePoint with other business applications, such as ERP systems.
• Provide technical support for SharePoint users.
• Develop and implement SharePoint security and access controls.
• Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Deliver services and solutions using the Power Platform suite: PowerApps, Power Automate, AI Builder, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of Microsoft 365 products and Azure Services.
• Perform quality reviews and sense-checks on existing and new apps.
• Have a passion for moving organizations forward with the Power Platform and excitement for the impact Power Platform can have on customer experiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Deep knowledge in Power Platform: SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2013, PowerShell using SharePoint and PnP Modules, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Teams.
• Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI technical solutions.
• Experience in Office 365 application development and migrations.
• Experience with Microsoft Portals and Copilot is a plus.
• Experience in RPA development using Power Automate.
• Very good team player who is skilled at building and managing stakeholder relationships successfully.
• Experience in C#, SQL, .Net, Power Apps, SharePoint, Microsoft DataVerse (CDS).
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks.
• Fundamental knowledge and understanding of the SDLC process, unit testing, and packaging to deploy from DEV to PROD.
• Thorough understanding of .Net, IIS, Active Directory, and SharePoint site settings.
• Extensive understanding of UI/UX.

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Power Platform Certifications are a plus.

Experience Requirement:

• Over 5 years of experience in SharePoint and Power Platform technology.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft Technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
• Good time-management skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
