Programmer II, IT App

Job Summary:

Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Visual ERP system to improve efficiency for internal clients. Learn and understand new systems to help provide solutions to business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in supporting the Visual ERP system.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
• Help with the design, implementation, and support of integrations with other business applications.
• Collaborate with various departments and IT teams on support and project activities.
• Assist in managing vendors for projects and support.
• Identify areas where the Visual ERP system can be improved or current solutions enhanced.
• Perform testing for new applications and maintain documentation.
• Help manage patches, upgrades, and add-ons.
• Monitor and report on system performance and health.
• Address user issues and ensure end-user satisfaction.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic to intermediate understanding of ERP systems, specifically Visual ERP.
• Familiarity with business processes and workflows.
• Basic programming knowledge (e.g., SQL, scripting languages) is a plus.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of database management.
• Interest in learning about system integrations and upgrades.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Educational/Certification Requirement :

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Business, Operations or similar.
• Optional: Visual ERP related trainings or certifications.

Experience Requirement:

• Some experience with ERP systems (experience with Visual ERP is a plus).
• Some industry experience in a relevant field is a plus.
• Experience working in teams or on projects is a plus.
