Job summary

Turner & Townsend Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Programme Manager to define strategy, shape the roadmap, and lead delivery of complex programmes across financial institutions. You will align cross-functional teams, manage budgets and risks, and report on performance to senior stakeholders, driving value and outcomes.

The role requires a track record in large-scale delivery, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence at senior levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in project management or equivalent field.
• Minimum 12 years' experience delivering large, complex programmes.
• Proven track record managing multi-workstream initiatives and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Professional certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, MSP) are advantageous.
• Strong programme and project management expertise.
• Good financial and commercial awareness.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong influencing skills with credibility at senior levels.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Oversee risk, issue, and dependency management, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Support programme assurance activities, including reviews and compliance requirements.
• Lead end-to-end programme delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and benefits are achieved.
• Monitor programme performance through defined metrics and reporting.
• Facilitate governance forums and enable clear, timely communication of progress and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, ensuring alignment, accountability, and delivery discipline.
