Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Program Sourcing Manager for our Johor facility to lead local procurement, supplier management, and NPI readiness. You will drive negotiations, vendor selection, and cost optimization across electronics, metals, plastics, and chemicals.

The role requires a degree and solid purchasing/manufacturing experience, with ERP/Agile tool proficiency. You will report to the MD and help build robust supply chains for a scaling operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in purchasing or manufacturing (semiconductor background a plus).
• Experience with ERP/Agile in manufacturing.
• Strong supplier negotiation and vendor management.
• Detail-oriented with audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead product localization, material cost ownership, and NPI sourcing readiness to align with production ramps and revenue plans.
• Manage full cycle of strategic contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and long-term supply agreements (LTSAs).
• Perform market research and identify new vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing across electronics, metals, plastics, mechanics, and chemicals.
• Oversee material flow, analyze supplier capacity, and manage BOM releases through ERP and Agile systems for inventory needs.
• Coordinate with QA, planning and engineering to resolve supplier-related quality issues and assess make-vs-buy decisions.
• Monitor raw material market trends and manage supplier relationships to provide pricing and supply insights.
• Act as an autonomous contributor to establish local procurement activities for a scalable Johor facility.

In this role, you will:

• Lead product localization, material cost ownership, and NPI sourcing readiness to perfectly align with production ramps and revenue plans.
• Manage the full cycle of strategic contract negotiations, including pricing, commercial terms, and long-term supply agreements (LTSAs).
• Perform market research and identify new potential vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality material sourcing across complex electronics, metals, plastics, mechanicals, and chemicals commodities.
• Oversee material flow, analyze supplier capacity, and manage BOM releases through ERP and Agile systems to maintain necessary inventory for manufacturing needs.
• Coordinate with quality assurance, planning, and engineering teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues, mitigate long-term supply chain risks, and conduct make-vs-buy analyses.
• Monitor global raw material market trends and manage global supplier relationships to provide insights on pricing, supply stability, and continuity.
• Act autonomously as an Individual Contributor to establish local procurement activities and build robust supply chain operations for a scaling greenfield/brownfield plant.

• A degree or diploma in a relevant field of study.
• Extensive experience in purchasing or a manufacturing environment (Semiconductor bg will be a plus).
• Proficiency in utilizing warehouse management systems and procurement tools.
• Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
• Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate documentation and audit records.
