Job Description
Responsible for new Roadm product transfer, product/team coordination, and management:
- Build planning & scheduling, gain commitment buy-in, improve process lead times, and manage inventory.
- Ensure practices are goal-oriented, market-aware, time-efficient, cost-effective, quality-conscious, and EHS compliant.
- Achieve and maintain high customer satisfaction in backlog commitments, manufacturing, quality, IPH cost, and responsiveness.
- Define the scope of product transfer by developing project schedules, milestones, and communication within stakeholders.
- Act as the main contact point between transfer sites (China/Thailand/US) and internal teams to meet yield, quality, cost, and timeline goals.
- Ensure site readiness across 4M: Man, Material, Machine, and Method.
- Manage the disposition of excess materials post-job closure.
- Apply risk-based thinking in planning and execution.
- Escalate high-risk situations involving customer escalation or safety concerns and propose solutions in collaboration with the Program Manager/stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Degree in Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Diploma with extensive experience in project startup/management or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong ability to identify organizational needs and manage programs/projects.
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experience in handling projects in NPI, manufacturing, or operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Microsoft Project.
