About Our Client
This company provides materials and solutions for various industries worldwide including aerospace, semiconductor, medical and automotive. They're currently undergoing an expansion in Malaysia and are looking for experienced Program Managers to join their team.
Job Description
- Manage program team execution of orders, contracts, backlog, and facilitate problem resolution across organizations.
- Follow up on shipments to ensure we meet site and customer guarantees without any delay and coordinate the team to any issue that could generate an impact.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational issues with the goal of meeting customer delivery requirements.
- Interfacing with customers, including solving customer problems, building relationships, and managing escalations.
- Facilitating meetings between different teams to ensure alignment.
- Preparing reports or presentations summarizing project progress and outcomes.
- Evaluating inventory turns performance and implementing inventory controls.
- Analyze potential solutions and provide information required to make appropriate decisions that ensure delivery on time and total customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate activities with operations, production, accounting, issuing, and shipping to provide a high level of customer care.
- Monitor and grow established business relationships.
- Organize efforts professionally to meet day-to-day customer requests and follow up on commitments.
- Assist Program Manager Leader in the day-to-day management of the assigned accounts and successfully communicate customer inventory demands to Rapid teams to ensure proper inventory levels.
- Manage the interfaces between the customers engineering / management teams and Rapid teams to facilitate the introduction of new products.
- Successfully utilize customers' portals to manage OOR and other reports.
- Maintain 100% OTD and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with Account Manager to assure timely responses of all quotation requests aimed to offer competitive pricing utilizing low cost region and quick turnaround.
- Resolve all issues that affect RFQ feedback, quality, delivery, service issue at a high level with customer.
- Review OOR and manage difficulties with order process. Be able to suggest contracts, Kanban, VMI contracts.
- Manage responsibly the Finished Goods inventory for customers that have some inventory program
- Allocate orders to the appropriate production region allowing customer to take full advantage of the low cost region. opportunities and well as quick turn around for prototypes
- Oversee all steps involved in managing ECOs and revision changes on current parts.
- Respond to all CNC's assigned to him/her in a timely manner
- Work and develop new projects with in assign account base.
- Communicate with in assigned account base daily/weekly
- Turn in the weekly account status update to ProgramManager Leader.
- Create and manage key relationships with the selected account base
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and assembly operations in the contract equipment manufacturing industry are a plus.
- Proven experience in project management leadership roles, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills and ability to effectively manage vendor relationships and contractual agreements.
- Certified in PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Six Sigma.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- A proactive team player who can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
