An established nonprofit organization is seeking an Independent Consultant to spearhead the setup of operations in Malaysia. This role involves strategic leadership to establish programs that address HIV care and services, ensuring compliance with local regulations while building strong partnerships with local stakeholders. The consultant will conduct assessments, develop program concepts, and represent the organization in key meetings. Our premier client is an international nonprofit organization providing high-quality HIV care and services. The organization generates new and innovative ways of HIV case finding, treating, and addressing barriers to care for our clients. Working in 45 countries, the organization takes care of almost 2 million people living with HIV/AIDS around the world and is committed to supporting people in need regardless of their ability to pay. The Asia Bureau is implementing the program in 9 countries in the Asia Pacific Region including Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. In view of its expansion and to fulfill its mission, Asia Bureau is looking for an Independent Consultant to set up operations in Malaysia.
Objectives:
To act as a country representative and ensure the setting up of organizational programs in the country by following the organization’s plan and policies and the regulations of the proposed host country. The Independent Consultant is responsible for strategically leading, directing, and establishing the operation of the organization in the country.
