Overview

The ideal candidate will bring subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Vibration and Dynamic Systems, Control Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, Hydrogen Technology Design, or Advanced/Smart Manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses and contribute to university programs.
• Provide mentorship on project endeavors and clarify assignment criteria.
• Craft and administer assessments that harmonize with learning objectives.
• Offer personalized feedback during consultations to enrich their educational journey.
• Undertake scholarly research, publish findings, and present at prestigious conferences, alongside fulfilling departmental and university commitments.

Skills & Experience Required

• A relevant PhD from a recognized institution.
• Registration with a professional body such as Board of Engineers Malaysia is required.
• Professional qualification (PEng, IPEA/APEC Engineer) or those progressing towards the qualification are desirable.
• Having knowledge in Vibration, Dynamic Systems and Control, Renewable Energy System Management, Hydrogen Technology Systems Design, and Advanced or Smart Manufacturing.
• Having experience in establishing and developing significant partnerships between academia and industry is an advantage.
• Proven track record of substantial high-quality research output with significant impact and leadership in research.
