Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Design, prepare, and develop teaching materials; conduct classes, tutorials, and practicals; consult with students; invigilate, mark, and assess.
• Contribute to curriculum and program development.
• Implement teaching strategies to enhance student learning and motivation.
• Support research projects and supervise postgraduate students.
• Maintain high teaching standards to meet university expectations.

Research

• Engage in scholarly activities such as research, conferences, publications, and community work.
• Assist in securing research grants and scholarships.
• Achieve research output targets for the professorial level.

Administration and Other Activities

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and working groups.
• Engage in professional development activities.
• Establish links with external organizations and professional bodies.

Requirements

• PhD in Law or a related field from a reputable institution, specializing in Constitutional & Administrative Law and Malaysian Legal System.
• At least 8 years of relevant teaching experience.
• Preferably with an h-index of 12.
• Supervised at least 4 PhD students.
• Published at least 15 papers in reputable journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
• Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator totaling at least RM150,000.
• Possess at least 1 intellectual property (patents, copyrights, trademarks).
• Experience in higher education teaching, curriculum development, and professional mentoring.
• Proficiency in developing teaching methodologies and using IT technologies effectively.
• Experience in research projects, consultancy, or professional practice with demonstrable outputs.
