Risk Management Role Responsibilities

1. The execution of the overall IM Safety, risk and Security Policies, Procedures, Standards and Plans.
2. The provision of ongoing support to GSRS Advocate staff in the holistic delivery of the IM safety, risk and security requirements in assigned businesses.
3. Assisting IM leadership in developing and implementing a coherent approach to safety, risk and security at a regional level.
4. Counselling business units on the management of safety, risk and security in line with IM policies, expectations, and protocols by providing the tools to deliver group-wide safety, risk, and security solutions.
5. Providing advice and support to management in the event of a security emergency and volatile periods such as civil unrest, terrorist attacks, and kidnapping. Deliver pre-emptive advice on risk reduction strategies during major events or periods of concern.
6. Ensuring compliance with governmental safety and security statutory requirements, codes, regulations, or requirements on a regional or specific basis.
7. Providing advice on security design and strategy for technical security measures in current or proposed major capital projects.
8. Assisting the business with regular self and external assessments to develop and prioritize risk mitigation strategies and provide assurance.
9. Supporting commercial and operational teams with customer-facing audits related to GSRS disciplines.
10. Completing internal and external certification audits, including ISO 45001 and 22301 certifications.
11. Participating in global safety, risk, and security support activities, including advocate calls and meetings.
12. Supporting site leaders in completing site-level BCP documents, tests, and fire drills annually.
13. Managing environmental systems, licenses, and corporate responsibilities.
14. Collaborating with operations to identify GSRS advocates and support the GSRS program across sites/countries.
15. Driving compliance with the FM training program at site level.
16. Monitoring and supporting the execution of the GSRS annual planner.
17. Supporting the collection, analysis, and submission of critical GSRS information.
18. Managing injuries and safety measures for injured employees' return to work.
19. Providing GSRS statistics and KPI reporting as needed.
