A leading fragrance manufacturer in Selangor seeks a Production Worker responsible for maintaining equipment, preparing raw materials, and mixing formulations. Candidates should hold at least a high school diploma and possess strong attention to detail and good time management skills. Training will be provided for some tasks, and the ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or higher.
• Able to work with hazardous materials and heavy drums.
• Experience of working in an IT controlled manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Production Worker (Packing Operator, Cleaner)

JOB PURPOSE

TASKS & RESPOSBILITIES

• Upkeep production equipment, apparatus and tools needed for production activities.
• Prepare raw material needed for production activities.
• Weigh and mix aromatic oils and chemicals to a predetermined formulation, strictly following a pre-determined formulation and in accordance to company procedures.
• Highlighting any problems encountered during the compounding process to the shift team leader or production manager.
• To ensure vessels are labelled correctly.
• To adhere to company manufacturing Health & Safety procedures, along with procedures specific to certain raw materials.
• Accurately complete all paperwork associated with a batch.
• To ensure all work areas are clean and tidy.
• To ensure all equipment to be used is clean and dry.
• Communicate any dangers in the workplace to the appropriate person.
• Additional duties as directed by the shift team leader.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

• Minimum High school diploma or higher
• Previous experience of lifting equipment, handling equipment - Advantageous, but training would be provided
• Previous experience of weighing & measuring things - Advantageous, but training would be provided.
• Able to work with hazardous materials and heavy drums.
• Able to work efficiently and effectively with attention to detail, even when under pressure
• High level of numeracy skills
• Read & Speak Bahasa Malaysia and English
• Good time management
• Experience of working within an IT controlled manufacturing environment - Advantageous
