Job summary

HID Global Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a TRAINER to develop and deliver operator training in RFID manufacturing. You will support Training Executive in creating, implementing, and maintaining training programs to boost skills, safety, and quality on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include planning training schedules, executing on-the-job training, deploying policy briefings, and coordinating with production.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate level or at least 1 years working experience in RFID manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently and proactively.
• Team player and good communication in English & Malay.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Operator Specific Skill on job training for related associates on the assigned workstation or machines according to Work Instructions and related SOP.
• Plan and schedule operators' training, qualification, refreshment training, and coordinate with production on the training schedule.
• Carry out Policy Deployments, Briefings and Simulations (New released WRI, Quality Alert and Visual Catalogue).
• Evaluate operator performance for qualification purposes.
• Work independently to obtain training materials (e.g. training aids, samples, notes, process info, quality indicators and correct work sequence).
• Participate in New Product Training during Engineering Build, Pre-Pilot and Pilot Runs to ensure milestones are met.

As our TRAINER you’ll support HID’s success by:

Summary

To provide training to newcomers (direct labor) and to assist Training Executive in developing, implementing, and maintaining the training programs and systems to ensure highest levels of enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity, safety, and quality in workforce.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conduct Operator Specific Skill on job training for related associates on the assigned workstation or machines according to Work Instructions and related SOP.

Plan and schedule operators' training, qualification, refreshment training, and coordinate with production on the training schedule.

Carry out Policy Deployments, Briefings and Simulations (New released WRI, Quality Alert and Visual Catalogue)

Evaluate operator performance for qualification purposes.

Work independently to obtain training materials (e.g. training aids, samples, notes, process info, quality indicators and correct work sequence).

Participate actively in New Product Training during Engineering Build, Pre-Pilot and Pilot Runs to ensure all critical milestones are met for new product.

Always maintain discipline to ensure effective operators training.

Provide up-to-date operator training data whenever required.

Prepare and execute documentation accurately and in a timely manner (e.g. Training Records, Training Attendance, and related forms).

Conduct the monitoring of operators on the production shop floor by doing line audits to ensure operators follow the process stated in the Standardized Work Instruction and comply with Quality Alert.

To follow defined Standard Operating Procedures in the Department.

Inform superiors on any non-confirming issues regardless of quality, process issue or productivity.

Practice good housekeeping (5S), safety and security conscious at all times.

Carry out any other duties assigned by immediate superior from time to time.

Report or feedback on environmental incidents or improvements needed.

Qualifications

Need to well understand the process inside HID Malaysia.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum Certificate level or at least 1 years working experience in RFID manufacturing.

Ability to work independently and proactively.

Ability to effectively communicate in the English & Malay language verbally and in writing.

Computer Skills

Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Ability to work effectively in a team

Multi-Tasking

Employee works primarily in a manufacturing environment, with in a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.

Other physical requirements as needed for job.
