Job Responsibilities
- To perform well engineering studies and production technology studies for both field development and CCS including injectors.
- To provide solutions for perforating program, well treatment, reservoir management plan and monitoring program including decision making for drilling and well operations.
- To identify necessary data acquisition to monitor reservoir and well performance, analyze problems, propose solutions and coordinate with concerned parties to execute relevant activities such as well intervention or workover.
- To ensure effective planning and operation of well testing and data interpretation to evaluate well performance and reservoir characteristics.
- To evaluate short/long term well performance and compare with prediction.
- To conduct studies to support well management work and formulate field development plan / storage development plan.
- To conduct well simulation studies by incorporating the actual pressure and production data for better prediction of well performance, reserves / storage estimation, and identification of further development needs in terms of well-related work program and well targeting including production / injection strategies.
- To develop, evaluate and integrate surface and subsurface part of field development plan and work programs including economic evaluation for a project.
- To generate medium and long term production / injection forecast and establish field development portfolio.
- To assist well completion designs for production / injection optimization.
- To effectively coordinate with geology, geophysics, production operations, well services and drilling by integrating their requirements in the well programming, formation evaluation and well completion.
- To ensure production and relevant production technology database is systematically set up and maintained with verification.
- To fulfill Storage Development Plan and Field Development Plan scope of work.
Requirements
- Degree in Petroleum Engineering / Petroleum Geoscience.
- Min. 15 years' experience as production technologies in oil and gas industry.
- CCS related project experience: 5 years.
- Has involved / experience at least 3 years in CCS geomechanics modelling projects.
