Production Technician - Permanent
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will be assisting in the manufacture and packing of a range of products and assemblies that are of an electro/mechanical build.
- Ensure that products are assembled in accordance with company documentation (engineering specifications / instructions / drawings), in a timely manner and to the highest standard
- To undertake assembly operations both individually and as part of a team to achieve daily targets / KPI’s
- To use and maintain tools in a safe and professional manner, to include:
- Soldering equipment to IPC standards
- Wiring connectors
- Crimping tools
- Torque and air drivers
- To log assembly work undertaken on relevant systems
- Consult with appropriate teams on any quality or product liability issues the moment they are suspected and assist in determining the root cause and corrective actions to solve such problems
Required Experience
- Experience of production assembly
- Strong soldering experience
- High attention to detail
- Effective communication
- Ability to work to a deadline
- Works well as part of a team
