We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician to join our dairy manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and operating machinery, ensuring product quality, and maintaining production standards in a fast-paced environment. The technician will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe production of dairy products while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor equipment in the dairy production line, including pasteurizers, homogenizers, and filling machines.
• Ensure the smooth running of daily production schedules and workflows, making adjustments as necessary.
• Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine checks on products, equipment, and materials to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Perform sampling and testing of products to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Document production processes and quality checks accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow established safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality concerns to management promptly.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring raw materials and packaging are available for production.
• Monitor and report stock levels of key materials to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and quality assurance regulations such as HACCP, GMP, and FDA standards.
• Complete production logs, maintenance records, and quality documentation as required.
• Participate in audits and inspections as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the production, maintenance, and quality assurance departments to achieve production targets.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or associate's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably within the dairy or food industry.
• Knowledge of dairy processing, equipment, and quality standards is a plus.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations, particularly in food manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including shift work or overtime as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a focus on continuous production.
