Job description

The primary role of Production & Assembly function is to manufacture, assemble and pack products. Key deliverables include managing the day-to-day production & planning functions for manufacturing whilst supporting changing demands. Programming, set-up, and monitoring of the production equipment/processes and performing assembly operations. Performing Quality control checks of Incoming and finished goods. Ensuring compliance to ResMed’s Quality, OH&S, GMP policies and regulatory requirements.

  • The primary objective of Production Operation specialization within Production & Assembly Job Family is to mold, assemble and test components, devices and products ensuring compliance to GMP Quality and OH&S standards.

  • Key responsibilities include ensuring that the Production schedules and KPI’s are achieved to meet customer requirements.

  • Assists in setting up work stations and follows written or verbal process specifications in completing all assignments.

  • Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organizational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources.

  • Interacts daily with subordinates and other functional groups.

  • Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees, assigning tasks, checking work at frequent intervals, and maintaining schedules.

  • A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit.

  • Generally supervises semi-skilled employees (e.g., assemblers, operators, clerical).
