A leading company in the chocolate industry is seeking a packing and cleaning technician to ensure product integrity and cleanliness in the plant. The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and packing standards, along with proactive equipment maintenance and good sanitation practices.
Summary of major duties:
Product Packing
· To ensure product is packed correctly and according to packing requirement
· To ensure packing throughput is maintained at work location with minimal wastage of product and packaging.
· Practice GMP and food safety and always keep work environment safe and clean.
· Ensure all product are coded correctly and ensure all material are packed following standards.
· Maintaining a clear checklist or records of all material used.
· Ensure waste and rework is collected, kept and recorded accordingly according to procedure.
· Ensuring the equipment & tools provided are kept in good working condition and available.
· To maintain equipment and tools cleanliness and maximize tools lifespan.
· To clean machine interior and exterior, small spaces, working at height, working at tight spaces and environment in according to food safety and quality requirement.
· To move materials or small tools/equipment when necessary for packing or operational needs arise.
· Be able to work in other areas/machine when needed arises according to superior's instruction.
Machine Cleaning
· To ensure cleaning of machinery, environment and etc is done accordingly in a timely manner in all areas of chocolate plant
· To comply with all cleaning requirement and standards set including the method used to achieve those standards.
· Practice good ngmp and safety always and keeps work environment clean & safe.
· Maintaining a smooth and timely recording with accountability on cleaning and sanitation recording and documentation.
· Maintaining a clear checklist or records of all material used.
