A leading company in Food Manufacturing is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee operations, manage production staff, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as Production Supervisor in Food Manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 is advantageous.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• To oversee daily operations and lead production staffs on the food production floor.
• To ensure productions schedules are well planned and manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently in compliance with food safety standards (i.e. FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP).
• To implement process improvement, workflow efficiency and cost saving strategies.
• To monitor equipment maintenance and housekeeping procedures.
• To plan relevant training programs for production staff pertaining to food handling, production safety, technical skills etc.
• To conduct performance evaluations for subordinates and provide feedback for improvement.
• To monitor raw material usage and stock levels and maintain production records.
• To collaborate with procurement and logistics teams for smooth operations.
  
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Science or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 5 years of experience as Production Supervisor role in Food Manufacturing industry, knowledge in HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000 implementation would be added advantage.
