Ansell is seeking a Production Supervisor (Packing) to join our team in Melaka.

This role involves directing, organizing, controlling, and being accountable for all packing activities during the shift. The goal is to maximize output while minimizing costs without compromising quality. The supervisor will assist in problem solving, control packing material wastage, and manage glove packing rejects.

What will your role be?

Reporting to the Manager of Manufacturing Operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will:

• Monitor daily output and performance of subordinates
• Ensure resources are adequate and efficiently utilized
• Establish and communicate goals
• Develop teamwork and discipline among subordinates
• Keep abreast of process and product changes and communicate them promptly
• Have in-depth knowledge of processes and product requirements
• Arrange and prioritize packing orders
• Maximize labor efficiency
• Train, motivate, and lead by example
• Communicate company policies on quality, safety, health, and environment
• Ensure compliance with environmental protection and legal requirements
• Apply safety and risk management techniques
• Ensure SOPs are followed and accessible
• Adhere to company rules, regulations, and disciplinary procedures
• Satisfy internal customer requirements
• Assist in projects or assignments and perform other duties as assigned
• Supervise shift fitters and minimize downtime

• Degree or Diploma in a related discipline
• SPM/SPMV qualification with relevant experience will also be considered
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, computer literate
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and willingness to work long or irregular hours if needed
