Job description

Production Supervisor / Manager (Sheet Metal)

Lead and supervise the production team to achieve cycle time targets, production output, yield, quality, and productivity. Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.

Liaise with Engineering to ensure machinery, equipment, and facilities are functioning properly, well-maintained, and regularly serviced.

Coordinate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize efficiency.

Provide guidance, evaluations, and support to production teams to ensure productivity and safety compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, Engineering, QA, Warehouse, Logistics) to meet production goals and improve processes.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe work environment.

Maintain 5S standards and enforce discipline on the shop floor.

Ensure accurate and timely updates of production data, systems, and documentation.

Apply effective supervision to motivate and develop the team, driving desired results.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental compliance.
• Strong team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
• Ability to understand operational flow, material movement, and machinery functionality.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and BM (spoken and written). Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for communication with clients.
