Job description

Alton Intelligent Technology Sdn Bhd was established in July 2022 by Alton Industry Ltd Group from the US with a total investment of USD 50 million. The mega plant is located in Pekananas, Pontianak, Johor, occupying approximately 45.25 acres in its industrial estate. It commenced operations in August 2024 on a continuous basis.

The plant comprises 6 production lines including motor assembly, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, die casting, final assembly, and an automated smart warehouse. It specializes in manufacturing outdoor power equipment, air compressors, vacuum cleaners, industrial fans, motors, pneumatic tools, and other smart products.

Facilities include a 5-story office building, two 3-story cafeterias and activity centers, and four 5-story dormitories for workers and managers. The full capacity workforce is projected to reach 2,000 employees.

Qualifications & Experience

• College degree or above, preferably in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production management, or related fields.
• Over five years of manufacturing production management experience, familiar with the entire process and flow of production management. Experience with lean optimization projects is preferred.
• Experience in metal processing (stamping/welding/powder coating), household appliance assembly, or household motor production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent team leadership, conflict resolution, project execution, and cross-departmental coordination skills. Ability to clearly communicate instructions, provide timely feedback, and resolve on-site issues.
• Strong quality consciousness and effective communication skills for instructions, feedback, and problem-solving.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials according to production plans to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor production progress, adjust priorities, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Supervise production site orderliness, manage labor discipline, ensure standard operation procedures, and uphold 5S standards.
• Collect and analyze production data (yield rate, rework rate) to identify efficiency issues and propose optimizations.
• Assign tasks, evaluate performance, and conduct skill training for production staff. Organize team-building activities and address staff emotional well-being to reduce turnover.
• Analyze production costs and implement cost reduction measures.
