We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor/Leader to join our dynamic team at HOCHUEN MEDICAL SDN. BHD. in Johor, Senai. As a Production Supervisor/Line Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production line, ensuring efficient and effective manufacturing processes. Key responsibilities:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets
2. Monitoring production processes, identifying and resolving issues to maintain quality and productivity
3. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
4. Providing leadership, training, and mentoring to production team members
5. Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control and maintenance, to optimise production workflows
6. Generating and analysing production data to identify areas for improvement
7. Communicating effectively with management and providing progress reports

Qualifications:

1. SPM or equivalent
2. Basic knowledge of quality standards, such as ISO 13485
3. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or line leader role within a manufacturing or production environment
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address production-related issues promptly
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate the production team
6. Proficient in understanding and interpreting production data and metrics
7. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change
9. Familiarity with production equipment, machinery, and quality control processes
10. Fluent in Malay and English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage
