JOB DESCRIPTION -
Responsible for leading a group of production crews to execute the production schedule using available resources and deliver products that meet quality specifications on time. Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps, production variables, control points, SOPs, WI, records, and preparing relevant production reports.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out and complete the production plan on schedule, utilizing the resources provided. Coordinate with relevant supporting departments for materials planning.
- Act as VAP HALAL Executive & Assistant Food Safety Team Leader.
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (ISO 22000, GMP, HACCP), meeting product quality control parameters and work instructions.
- Implement food safety controls and policies, GMP practices, and maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the working environment. Complete and submit forms and records as required on time.
- Lead and motivate production workers. Provide adequate training and guidance, and carry out counseling and disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain the condition of production machinery. Report abnormalities for maintenance to prevent disruptions.
- Maintain a safe and clean workplace.
- Participate in all improvement and upgrading projects for continuous improvement in production throughput and pest control.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by superiors.

Minimum requirements:
- Diploma / Degree holder
- At least 3 years supervisory experience managing 10 or more employees
- Computer literacy
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Willing to work on shifts
