• Assist the Manager in running production equipment efficiently and minimizing defects.
• Initiate problem-solving to reduce rejects and production delays.
• Ensure production targets are achieved and all records maintained.
• Monitor machine maintenance and prepare reports on production efficiency.
• Lead and train operators in production processes and safety compliance.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist the Manager in carrying out the smooth running of the production equipment, maintaining and controlling process parameters in order to maintain or achieve higher production efficiency and effectiveness, reducing or minimizing defects.
• To initiate problem-solving and troubleshooting activities/processes to reduce production rejects and production-related problems or delays.
• To ensure the production target is achieved.
• To ensure all the records are properly kept and well maintained.
• Ensure all the machines are well maintained and records after daily, weekly and monthly maintenance.
• Prepare and submit weekly / monthly/yearly reports and improvement activities reports.
• Monitor rejection items and solve or reduce the rejects through cross-functional team discussion.
• To lead, guide, and train operators in carrying out production works, including process troubleshooting and defects analysis, diligently and efficiently.
• Ensure all operators are complying with Safety & Environmental Regulation all time during working hours.
• Any other jobs assigned by immediate superior as and when deems fit.
