About the role
Rock Powder Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Production Supervisor Cum Environmental Officer to join our team in Ipoh, Perak. This full-time role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production facility while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
What you'll be doing
Supervise and coordinate the production team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of quality products
Monitor production processes and machinery to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks
Implement and maintain production schedules, workflow, and inventory control systems
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Liaise with the environmental team to manage waste disposal, emissions, and other environmental concerns
Provide training and development opportunities for the production team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production and address customer requirements
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and quality control processes
Familiarity with environmental regulations and experience in implementing environmental management systems
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively manage the production team
Proficient in using production management software and data analysis tools
