Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturer in Seberang Perai is looking for an Operations Supervisor to manage and improve production operations. The candidate should possess a Degree or Post Diploma in a relevant field and have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.   • Supervise, plan, and schedule operations to maximize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with management for capacity planning.
  • Implement and support company policies, quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Enhance product quality aiming for Zero Defect Products.
  • Ensure achievement of management objectives through effective team development.
  • Cascade company goals to production line leaders.
  • Continuously improve work environment and resource utilization.
  • Monitor daily 5S activities to achieve targets.
  • Maintain effective communication and motivate team for productivity.
Job description
Responsibilities

Plan and allocate resources (equipment, space, labor) to meet production volume, schedule, and yield targets.

Supervise, plan, and schedule operations to maximize the utilization of resources and achieve plant production goals.

Collaborate with the Manager to plan and support plant-wide capacity planning.

Understand, implement, and support company policies, rules, regulations, code of conduct, and quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Work with all levels of the organization to enhance quality, aiming for "Zero Defect Products," 100% on-time production, and 100% on-time delivery.

Ensure the achievement of management and manufacturing objectives through effective selection, development, training, and motivation of subordinates.

Cascade company goals to production line leaders and operators.

Continuously plan to improve work environment, methods, effectiveness, and resource utilization. Critically review operating results.

Monitor daily 5S activities and achieve target goals.

Provide continuous support to company Quality, Safety, and Environment policies.

Maintain effective communication with staff at all levels. Motivate and discipline team members to ensure good attendance and productivity

Qualification

Degree or Post Diploma in Industrial / Engineering / Management / Materials / Applied Science.

With at least 3 years practical hands-on supervisory experience.
