Position Summary

Production Supervisor

Duties
Responsibilities
  • Lead a Production Assistant group to ensure they perform routine job assignments efficiently.
  • Manage Production Assistants to load and unload Customers' products in accordance with quality specifications.
  • Execute general movements of goods around the site.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation at all times.
  • Report any abnormalities of Customer products to the Immediate Supervisor.
  • Manage warehouse racking and storage by maximizing the available space and ensuring all batches can be clearly identified for processing or dispatch.
  • Execute any reasonable requests to ensure the efficient running of the site.
  • Ensure maximum efficiency utilization of machines as per plan.
Duties - cont'd
  • Attend to machine breakdowns during night shifts for minor stoppages and report to on-call duty technicians for further action.
  • Assist technicians during planned maintenance (autonomous maintenance).
  • Execute daily speed checks on machines as an authorized person.
  • Adjust machine speeds twice a month according to current source and calculations by the Planner.
  • Lead the team to support LEAN initiatives.
  • Report any accidents related to activities and update on SQDC.
  • Ensure team compliance with company rules, safety rules, QA procedures, and SOPs.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices in the production area.
  • Maintain a neat and clean personal appearance.
Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED
