Job summary

A leading construction chemicals company in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan is looking for a Production Supervisor. You will oversee day-to-day production activities to guarantee quality and productivity in the powder workshop. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or relevant experience, strong leadership, and communication skills in English or Bahasa Malaysia. This role requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Preferably Diploma in any discipline; those without any qualification but with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Good communication skill in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Organize and allocate manpower for production.
• Ensure plant is operated at optimal level with minimal downtime.
• Ensure production records are properly filled in and maintained for every batch.
• Check all incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure the quantities and qualities are in order.
• Drive 5S activities in the workshop.
• Maintain EHS compliance as per policy.

To supervise day-to-day production activities to achieve the desired product quality and productivity at powder workshop .

• Main Tasks
• To organize and allocate manpower for production.
• To ensure plant is operated at optimal level with minimal down time.
• To ensure production records are properly filled in and maintained for every batch.
• To ensure QC samples are sent from plant to laboratory at required intervals for testing purpose
• To check all incoming raw and packaging materials to ensure both the quantities and qualities are in order.
• To drive 5S activities in the workshop.
• To assist in plant repair and maintenance
• To maintain good housekeeping of the plant
• To ensure EHS compliance as per Sika policy
• Others

Any other tasks assigned from time to time

• To maintain Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhere to policies regarding confidential information
• To maintain confidentiality of formulation at all times
