The Job

Oversee daily operations of the production line to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.

Supervise, guide, and train production team members.

Ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.

Work closely with the QA team to resolve any product quality issues.

Responsibilities

Monitor staff performance and productivity

Identify areas for improvement and provide coaching or training as necessary.

Identify bottlenecks in the production process and implement improvements.

Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, output data, and downtime logs.

Report any issues or deviations to management promptly.

Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Conduct safety briefings and monitor compliance with safety procedures.

Coordinate with warehouse and purchasing departments to ensure materials and supplies are available.

Minimize material wastage and downtime due to shortages.

Liaise with maintenance, planning, and logistics departments to ensure seamless production operations.

Participate in cross-departmental meetings to align goals and expectations.

The Candidate

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or equivalent

Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing industries

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and production-related software.

Computer literate and with good spoken & written English and Mandarin.

Have own transport and willing to travel outstation.

Willing to work extended hours if required
