Sports Direct Malaysia is currently seeking a Product Supervisor to join our expanding team.

Malaysia represents our first direct retail investment in Asia through a joint venture with Malaysian-owned MST Golf Group. We operate 38 retail stores and a proprietary SportsDirect.com e-commerce platform, offering over 70 leading global sports brands. Our company employs over 1000 staff and plans rapid expansion across Asia.

Our new store formats are part of a multichannel strategy to enhance customer experience, featuring zoned sections by sports categories such as SD Football, SD Running, SD Training, SD Rackets, SD Swimming, SD Sports, SD Lifestyle, and SD Outdoor.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in coaching and training sales assistants on product knowledge and customer service standards.
2. Help achieve monthly sales targets.
3. Monitor stock delivery and processing.
4. Assist in stock replenishment and stock-taking activities.
5. Ensure compliance with operational and customer service SOPs.
6. Support product display and visual merchandising.
7. Stand in for the Assistant Shop Manager when needed.
8. Maintain shop cleanliness and orderliness.
9. Update the Shop Manager on staff performance and customer feedback.
10. Implement sales and promotional plans as required.
11. Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• SPM with at least 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in retail or Diploma with at least 2 years as a Sales Assistant.
• Passion for sports and retail.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work long hours, including weekends, public holidays, and shifts.
