This position is to oversee the day-to-day operations in a manufacturing environment, to create work and production schedules, monitor quality and ensure products are manufactured efficiently. Production Supervisors must perform human resources activities, such as hire workers, train and maintain records of employee performance and attendance on the job. In addition, Production Supervisors are accountable for ensuring that the production department operates in full compliance with the company’s Quality Policy, Environmental Policy, Safety and Health Policy, and is aligned with the organization's Mission and Vision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee new product and prototyping activities to ensure alignment with production requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain production checklists, inventory reports, and operational status updates.
• Coordinate and monitor production schedules.
• Ensure on-time delivery of shipments based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate interdepartmental inventory transfers to support seamless material flow and stock accuracy.
• Oversee production activities, evaluate operator performance, and manage certification processes.
• Manage employee recruitment, disciplinary actions, and staff development.
• Ensure production activities comply with budgetary limitations and time constraints.
• Work during normal hours or rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Associate Supervisor or Supervisor.
• Proficient in production planning and scheduling.
• Strong teamwork and task coordination skills.
• Experience leading and participating in meetings such as GYAT and Tiered meetings.
• Knowledge of waste management standards in production.
• Experience monitoring production KPIs like NCN/Scrap, Plan vs Actual, DLU, DLE, etc.
• Good housekeeping habits (5S).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling conflicts.
• Proactive with self-motivation to stay engaged in production activities.
• Knowledge of quality management systems like ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or IFS is preferred.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
