Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the production process, draft and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Identify training needs and organize training sessions for production workers.
- Raise WSR requests by email for use materials in the Bar Fab processes.
- Assist the Bar Fab Operation Manager in managing production operations.
- Support your superior or reporting manager with any new tasks assigned.
- Collaborate with managers to implement company policies and goals.
- Identify and resolve issues that could cause production delays.
- Monitor discipline, tardiness, and attendance of DLs.
- Prepare and present production reports to upper management.
- Determine resource capacity needed to meet production plans.
- Manage dispatching of work orders according to the build plan.
- Drive improvements in workmanship and quality.
- Manage and control direct material usage and keep inventories at desired levels.
- Manage employee attrition and retention, and coordinate activities to enhance teamwork and environment.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Policy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Perform other duties as directed by your immediate superior.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, and Housekeeping guidelines.
- Meet performance metrics such as HPU, DPPM, Cycle time, Job Closure, Cross Training, Scrap/Reject, and attendance.
- Participate in or be trained on company initiatives like Lean Manufacturing.
- Derive continual improvement strategies.
- Practice Risk-Based Thinking in planning and execution.
- Comply with ISO requirements, company rules, regulations, and applicable codes.
Education & Experience
- Possess a BBA or equivalent with at least xx years of relevant experience as a Production Supervisor.
Skills
- Leadership skills to manage a virtual team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with other team members.
Working Conditions
