Job description

Team Management

• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members, ensuring they are trained and capable of meeting production demands.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members, ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to improve performance and productivity.

Production Oversight

• Plan, organize, and oversee the daily operations on the production floor to ensure that production schedules are met.
• Monitor production processes to ensure that products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.
• Address and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards by conducting regular inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure that all team members follow quality procedures.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any hazards or unsafe practices immediately.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements related to production.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for improving production processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects.
• Encourage and support team members in contributing ideas for process improvements.

Production Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, efficiency, scrap rates, and downtime.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to the Production Manager.
• Use production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
