A new plant, PgP5, with a final testing centre for sensors and semiconductors, began construction in May 2021 and started production in 2023. Job Description

Job Overview

  • Lead and supervise a team to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
  • Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize workflows.
  • Train and develop production staff to enhance skills and efficiency.
  • Track and report on production KPIs for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise operators and technicians on the production line.
  • Conduct Daily Leadership Routine (DLR) meetings with the team.
  • Perform eLPC at the start of each shift.
  • Lead daily handshake meetings with other shifts.
  • Ensure all team members are trained according to work instructions.
  • Monitor production flow to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Coordinate with departments such as Logistics, Equipment Engineering, and Product Engineering.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to increase productivity.
  • Trigger technicians/engineers when non-conformities are found.
Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing, specifically in production environments.
  • Diploma qualification, preferably in Electrical & Electronics or Semiconductors production.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and foster a positive work environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset to encourage cooperation and motivation.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in production management software and data analysis tools.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Strong decision-making skills for managing production challenges.
  • Ability to delegate tasks efficiently while maintaining accountability.
