Responsabilités

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating daily production activities to achieve production targets and delivery schedules.
• Prepare production plans based on customer orders, material availability, manpower capacity, and machine availability.
• Monitor actual production output against the production plan, identify delays or bottlenecks, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, QC, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth production operations.
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP), production efficiency, material usage, and manpower utilization to optimize resources and minimize wastage.
• Prepare and maintain production reports, schedules, and performance records for management review.
• Monitor production processes and manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, waste minimization, and increased production output.
• Assist in conducting engineering analysis, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in product development, process trials, equipment modifications, and improvement projects where required.
• Review production methods and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency, equipment utilization, and product consistency.
• Support the implementation of new production processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Monitor machinery and equipment performance to minimize breakdowns and production disruptions.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance and Engineering teams on preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment improvement activities.
• Assist in planning maintenance schedules in coordination with production requirements and planned plant shutdowns.
• Conduct routine production floor inspections and report equipment abnormalities, unsafe conditions, or potential operational issues.
• Maintain proper records of machine downtime, breakdowns, maintenance activities, and production-related issues.
• Work closely with the QC department to ensure products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production quality, investigate process-related defects, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure production activities comply with approved work instructions, operating procedures, and customer requirements.
• Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection rates and product defects.
• Coordinate manpower allocation according to production schedules and operational requirements.
• Monitor the performance and productivity of production personnel and recommend improvements where necessary.
• Assist in training production staff on work procedures, production processes, equipment operation, and quality requirements.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, accountability, and effective communication among production personnel.
• Identify operational training needs and support the development of employees' technical skills.
• Monitor raw material availability and coordinate with the Purchasing and Warehouse departments to ensure materials are available according to the production plan.
• Monitor material consumption, production wastage, and inventory usage to minimize losses.
• Coordinate the availability of spare parts and production consumables with the relevant departments.
• Highlight material shortages, equipment constraints, and other issues that may affect production schedules.
• Ensure production activities comply with company safety procedures, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure employees follow safe working practices.
• Participate actively in 5S activities and maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the production floor.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2015.
• Monitor production-related environmental controls, including dust collection systems, and report abnormalities for corrective action.
• Participate in internal audits, corrective action follow-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyse production data, identify performance gaps, and recommend practical improvement measures.
• Prepare periodic reports on production output, efficiency, machine downtime, quality performance, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain accurate production records, planning documents, and operational reports in the company's system.
• Provide updates and recommendations to the Head of Production on production performance, operational issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superior or Management from time to time.
