Production Planning & Inventory Control (PPIC)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive PPIC Executive to support our PPIC Manager in coordinating production planning and warehouse operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth production flow, accurate inventory management, and timely material handling in a food manufacturing environment. The position plays a key role in maintaining product quality and upholding food safety standards aligned with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity planning.

Monitor production progress and adjust plans to ensure timely delivery, avoiding stockouts or overproduction.

Coordinate with production and purchasing teams to ensure materials and ingredients are available on time.

Oversee warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and internal stock movements, particularly for temperature-sensitive food items.

Conduct and verify stock counts to maintain accurate inventory and minimize spoilage or loss.

Enforce proper storage practices, adhering to FIFO/FEFO procedures.

Update inventory systems and generate variance reports for review.

Investigate stock discrepancies and propose corrective actions to the PPIC Manager.

Support periodic physical stock counts and cycle counts per internal audit schedules.

Collaborate with production, warehouse, QC, and purchasing departments for smooth coordination.

Assist in the preparation of production performance and compliance reports.

Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and inventory control.

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or related field.

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in production planning or warehouse operations, preferably in food manufacturing.

Familiarity with food safety practices and regulatory standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory/planning software.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
