Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in aerospace is seeking a Production Planning Executive to oversee and optimize the production schedule. The role involves ensuring timely material issuance, analysis for continuous improvement, and complying with quality procedures. This position is suitable for candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. It offers an opportunity to develop skills in production planning within a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

• No experience needed, but production planning background preferred.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedule and ensure weekly releases.
• Issue Process Planning Sheets and maintain loading records.
• Coordinate with production to meet inventory and delivery requirements.

• Responsible to monitor production schedule and ensure the schedule is available for 1 month and ensure the schedule is released to production on weekly basis.
• Responsible in issuing Process Planning Sheet (PPS), and maintaining proper loading record.
• To ensure raw material are being issued on time by material department to keep the machine up and running.
• Need to work closely with production to ensure proper time management and delivery and also to ensure WIP and FG are within the inventory minimum level.
• Follow up on WIP to determine whereabouts and to keep track on delivery schedule.
• To achieve 100% OTD for respective projects.
• To review, update and manage capacity for respective projects.
• Continuous improvement through work flow, analysis and optimization.
• To analyse and plan for material with material department.
• To carry out any other duties assigned by Head / Superior from time to time.
• To ensure that the Group’s Quality System and Procedures are adhered to at all times.
• To live the UPECA Way / Values.
• To perform all other work as and when required.
• To receive and act on any other instructions from the Head of Department or any other person delegated by him / her.

Experience and Personality Preference:

No experience needed, can be trained, however those with production planning background is preferred.

Skills, Knowledge Requirements:

• Knowledge of machining process.
• Pleasant personality, and people-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• High integrity with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office software packages.
• Resourceful and energetic, with an eye for details on strategic matters.
• Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department harmony.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field.

Working Relationship:

Internal: CEO, Operators, Department Managers / Heads, and Programs & Planning personnel.

External: Respective customers and Government Authorities.
