Overview

Main Purpose of Position: Production Planning Engineer ensures efficient manufacturing by scheduling production, coordinating resources, managing inventory levels, and tracking progress. The goal is to meet customer demand on time while optimizing cost, materials, and workforce usage.

Main Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the production planning for material orders and monitoring daily basis.
  • Generate PO in order to make sure the production plan is executed as per schedule.
  • Component planning to support production plan by way of raising material requisition for packing material packaging and chemical.
  • Review report generated by sales order to align new order for production plan.
  • Responsible for SAP setting (BOM creation, new material code application, etc) and working closely with costing department for release cost.
  • Design label as per customer requirements.
  • MRP and sales forecast updating in SAP as per advised.
  • Daily stock monitoring to make sure that inventory management is effective based on KPI target set.
  • Free stock management by way of communicating with the sales department for new possible orders.
  • Prepare monthly report to understand plan vs target achievement.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out are following ESM Integrated Management System requirements (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 22716, GMP+B2, RSPO, HALAL, Kosher & GMP).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder in Chemical Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in production planning (Oleochemical Industry).
  • In-depth knowledge of production planning process.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools – SAP is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and interpret complex data.
