Job summary

Amphenol TCS (M) Sdn Bhd in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, invites applications for a Planner role in our Production, Planning & Scheduling team. This full-time position focuses on ensuring a smooth flow of materials, resources and production schedules across manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years in production planning or related fields, with strong knowledge of inventory management, ERP/MRP experience, and excellent analytical skills to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Economics/Business Administration or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of production planning principles, inventory management and supply chain logistics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to interpret data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across departments.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, electronics or components industry is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Problem-solving mindset for practical operational solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with related departments for resources/capacity planning and inventory control.
• Ensure timely work order release and close.
• Prepare weekly/monthly production schedule based on forecast demand.
• Weekly/monthly inventory report update.
• Ensure production runs according to the planning schedule.
• Work closely with related departments on materials issues impacting production lines.
• Handle other tasks and duties as requested by superior.
