Job description

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. You will work closely with various departments including production, procurement, and logistics to streamline operations and meet customer demands efficiently. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential for success in this role.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, delivery status and/or in-house manufacturing status from raw material, work-in-progress (WIP), semi goods to finished goods for production efficiency and effectiveness.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to prevent shortages or over stock.

Collaborate with production supervisors to prioritize production orders and allocate resources effectively.

Communicate production schedules, priorities, and changes to relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Resolve any production-related issues or delays that may arise during the manufacturing process.

Continuously evaluate and refine production planning processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Follow up and check daily 4M availability / status to do adjustment and schedule changes (in necessary) in order to minimize production loss and downtime.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.

Skill / Knowledge & Certification:

Minimum of Diploma in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Admin, Food Technology & Scienceor related field.

2. Working Experience

At least2-3 years’ experience in similar position.

3. Special Skill/knowledge

Being able to resolve problems efficiency.

Proficiency in using production planning software and ERP systems (e.g.,MPS & MRP).

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex information clearly.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
