Overview

We're looking for a dedicated Production Planner to join our team at OKAYASU RUBBER (M) SDN. BHD. If you’re committed, responsible, and eager to contribute to quality production in a supportive environment, we’d love to have you on our team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Receive and coordinate work orders from Sales/Logistics and ensure timely delivery preparation.
• Liaise with related departments to ensure smooth production flow and address outstanding orders.
• Plan, monitor, and control production schedules to meet delivery requirements while avoiding excess semi-finished stock.
• Ensure all required materials, equipment, and manpower are ready and in good condition before production.
• Coordinate daily material blending and preparation for molding.
• Monitor production output, operators’ daily achievements, and quality performance.
• Manage Kanban Cards monthly, ensure stock accuracy, and prioritize orders.
• Troubleshoot production issues, including manpower shortages, or material delays, by coordinating with related PIC.
• Arrange manpower planning, including shifts, overtime, and on-the-job training/supervision for new operators.
• Ensure packing, trimming, and quality inspection are performed correctly and quantities tally with delivery requirements.
• Plan and coordinate 5S activities, improvement tasks, and stock inventory.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

Who We’re Looking For

• SPM Level and above.
• 2–3 years of working experience in production planning, coordination, or manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and inventory control is an advantage.
• Experience with Kanban or production scheduling is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
