Farmiera is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Planner to manage and optimize the production scheduling and planning for our poultry processing operations. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production flow, meeting delivery timelines, and maintaining optimal inventory levels, aligning closely with sales forecasts and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain production schedules to meet sales forecasts and customer orders. Establish sequences and lead times for each operation, ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Implement and enhance the total planning system, linking sales, marketing, and production to the end customer. Monitor and adjust plans based on demand variations and raw material availability.
- Communication & Coordination: Ensure all departments are informed of production statuses, aligning work planning and execution objectives. Collaborate with manufacturing personnel, purchasing teams, and supervisors to resolve production planning issues.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze production specifications, plant capacity, workflow, and manpower requirements to optimize schedules. Monitor backlog, capacity utilization, and production results, ensuring adherence to planned schedules. Provide timely and accurate production reports to management.
- Problem-Solving & Optimization: Address production challenges using analytical skills and industry knowledge. Identify areas for improvement in production planning and recommend effective solutions.
- Compliance & Efficiency: Ensure production processes comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing waste.
Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in production planning, preferably in a poultry processing or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and supply chain management.
- Proficiency in planning software and tools, such as ERP systems or Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable plans.
- Knowledge of safety and quality regulations in the food processing industry is an advantage.

Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
