Location: Balakong, Selangor
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders and production capacity.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and logistics to ensure raw material and component availability.
- Monitor work‑in‑progress and adjust schedules proactively to meet changing priorities or unexpected delays.
- Communicate production plans and updates to relevant departments (sales, quality, production team, site and delivery team, etc).
- Liaise with process engineer to optimize production efficiency by minimizing downtime, set‑up time and material shortages.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, variances and opportunities for improvement as per Legrand Way.
- Support inventory management by balancing production output with demand and stock levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy.
- Prepare regular reports on production performance, forecast accuracy and capacity utilization.
- Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, manufacturing or related field.
- Minimum 2‑5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing coordination.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to details.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP system (preferably SAP).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast‑paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities.
