Job summary

Alcon in Malaysia's Johor plant is seeking an Operator I in Production Technical Operations to support manufacturing of eyecare products. You will perform manual and operational tasks to keep production running smoothly and ensure equipment is set up, operated, maintained and troubleshot to meet specifications and schedules.

You will maintain accurate production records, monitor quality, and adhere to GxP regulations and SOPs while contributing to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum education is SPM; no prior experience required.
• Roles include manual/operational tasks to support production goals.
• Ensure equipment is set up, operated, maintained and troubleshot to meet specs.

Responsibilities

• Handle manual or operational tasks to ensure smooth processes.
• Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Ensure products meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets and quality standards.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Review work orders, schedule resources, and monitor operations for alignment with business objectives.
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control.
