Overview

Production & Material Planning, Executive (Food Manufacturing) role at Defeem Sdn Bhd, Kota Damansara, Selangor. This is a full-time position focusing on optimizing production and material planning processes to ensure efficient operations.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and implementing comprehensive production and material plans to meet sales forecasts and customer demands
• Analyzing production data, identifying bottlenecks and implementing strategies to improve efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and other resources
• Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing stock management to minimise waste and maximise cost-effectiveness
• Generating detailed reports and dashboards to provide visibility on production and material planning KPIs
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions to streamline operations
• Perform any other duties as required by management.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in production and material planning, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese (to communicate with overseas suppliers)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Computer literate such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and able to analyze data to improve production
