Production Manager (Plastic Injection Moulding)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee operations at our plastic injection moulding manufacturing facility in Johor Bahru.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring output, efficiency, and ensuring smooth operations to meet production targets and deadlines.
2. Handling headcount planning, supervising, training, and guiding production staff.
3. Developing KPIs, investigating non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
4. Managing raw materials and WIP inventory to maintain efficient material flow.
5. Ensuring a safe work environment and promoting 5S housekeeping and discipline.
6. Coordinating with internal departments, suppliers, and subcontractors; supporting ISO activities and audits.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Preferably managerial experience with expertise in Manufacturing/Production Operations or similar.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Strong team leadership skills, ability to manage heavy workloads, and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
