About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager (Night Shift) to join our client MNC Manufacturing. This role will play a pivotal part in overseeing our manufacturing operations during the night shift.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee the production team during the night shift to ensure timely and efficient completion of all manufacturing tasks

Monitor KPIs such as OEE, downtime, and scrap rates and optimise production processes to maximise efficiency, productivity and quality

Develop and implement production schedules, plans and strategies to meet business objectives

Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks and risks in a timely manner

Enforce safety policies, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.

Conduct regular safety meetings and risk assessments.

Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization initiatives.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations and standards

Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team to drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with other departments to align production activities with overall business goals

What we're looking for

Diploma or higher in Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)

Minimum 5 years of experience in a production management or supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or metal industry

Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, inventory management and process optimisation

Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.

Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure environments.
